We used this cork as underlayment for our new LVP floors. We conducted a test for a year before we installed it in all rooms of our Home. On our first floor we have a cement foundation and it works well as both insulation and as padding between the foundation and the LVP. The floors do not get very cold to the touch during the Winter. We occasional get snow and it does hard freeze a couple times a Winter where we live. Upstairs it has added needed sound installation. Upstairs is a standard wood with the cork and the LVP on top.

Worked great to raise the floor level for my laminate and really cut down the noise level heard downstairs! It was easy to handle, sturdy, and way better than having to cut plywood to raise the floor level. I highly recommend using this!!

This product was very easy to work with and was better quality then most of the cork that my distributors provide. It was a great choice for install under our Duchateau Luxury Vinyl plank.

I bought this as underlayment for engineered wood floor. The pieces arrived in good condition and are thick, but flexible enough to seat nicely on my uneven plywood floor.

These are nice, thick sheets of cork. I'm using them as underlayment under click-lock bamboo. Last time I put down similar flooring I used roll bamboo, and that's what I'd had in mind to get again, but these tiles were less expensive and thicker so I decided to try them. I'm interested in softening footfalls a bit and also adding insulation to a room that tends to be a bit chilly. They came in a big box in perfect condition and have been easy to handle, not brittle or awkward.

Product allowed different flooring other than carpet to be installed in condo. I play loud music and so far, no one has complained below me.

It is indeed sound damping. I have ordered five boxes to use them as underlayment for my laminate floor. My subfloor was some very old hardwood flooring and it was very noisy walking on them especially so since I am a heavy walker. With the sheets glued to the subfloor, the cork sheets lessened the sound transfer tremendously. Most importantly, at least to my wife, we are using them to elevate our laminate floor so it levels with our tiled floor. We could have used some plywood instead to make the two types of floor level, but we think the sound dampening and insulation provided by cork is worth the extra money. They are very easy to work with. Just make sure they are glued to the subfloor instead of nailed.

Great sound proofing, the 1/2" cork is comfortable to walk on. Cork is precision cut to 2' x 3' in packages of five but there are some variations on size. Sometimes there is up to 1/2" difference between different packages. Still, no regrets.

I live on the second floor of an old house and I used to be able to hear entire conversations of the downstairs neighbors.I added this cork underlayment on top of the wooden baseboard (that used to be carpeted) and also added another floating wooden floor on top of it. Now the floors are solid and I no longer hear the downstairs neighbor. I would DEFINITELY use again. It makes a huge difference. I would say it cuts down the noise made by the downstairs neighbors by more than half.

I used this product to create a whole wall bulletin board in an office. It worked great. I used flooring adhesive to glue it to the drywall. It is nice and thick so push pins have no problem going in far enough. One small disappointment...there were several damaged pieces in each box. The boxes these came in were very heavy so I know that makes them more likely to be damaged. If you were using this for floor underlayment as it is designed for, the damage wouldn't be an issue at all.
