You know, my momma always said, life is like a pack of mystery dice...These would make a great gift for a D&D lover. The dice are lightweight and well-made, However are are a little expensive at $9. I was unlucky to get a design that I'm not particularly a fan of, but I do appreciate how the numbers stand out with the color contrast. The inclusion of a drawstring bag is nice; I like the scorpion print on the front.

This is a review of one of QMAY's random polyhedral dice sets. The included picture shows what I received in my bag.The included velveteen bag is nice, especially since mine has a bat on it (and bats are cool).The dice set I received is a smidge larger than most other of my dice. The d20 is 27mm across opposite angles and 23mm across opposite sides. A more typical d20 in my collection is 24mm across opposite angles and 20mm across opposite sides. Oddly, the d6 of this set is the only die that isn't larger than typical D6s.The paint could have been little better quality, but the quality is still good.The D4's value from this set is read by using the numbers around the upright tip.The most important thing is how they roll. I'm happy to say each die appears to be likely unbiased (as determined by a chi-squared test of many, many rolls of each using a dice tower).All in all, the set of dice I received are excellent, definitely not junk. If you feel adventurous and like dice sets, this might be something you'd enjoy. To the right person, it would also make a nice gift.

These dice are very nice! Lol but really they are certainly better than regular sets. They feel heavier and roll differently. Cleaner, less likely to run off on you. They sit between large and average, bigger than my plastic set and smaller than a more premium special made set.In terms of design my set was a spooky Halloween type set, with bones and pumpkins and ravens. I like mine quite a bit.It also comes with a felt bag with a random design, mine was a scorpion. The bag held all the dice comfortably and it would take a lot of pressure to push a die out the top when the draws are pulled tight.The D4 is a bit deformed so I'm knocking a star off, but only regretfully. They seem balanced enough from what I was able to tell, no number came up more frequently than others. Besides the deformity I'm pleased with it.

This was very fun to open and see what dice I received. Mine were a blue/green/gold sparkle translucent set with and interesting font for the numbering. They are very cool looking and I think they're great! These are perfect for a group, as you could all open them together and trade dice if you wanted to. Very fun and reasonably priced.

My qualifications for this review are that I have been collecting dice for over 25 years. I have most every style, material and quality imaginable.Pros:The edges and corners aren't too sharp.The embossed design is unique.The painting is pretty uniform.Shapes are correct.Cons:Only mystery buying option for the set I got. I looked around the store and couldn't find the one I got individually. Mystery sets can be okay, but mostly they turn out like fruit snacks: 8 out of 10 are grape—or whatever flavor you like least. Anyway, this would not be a con if I could find all the options sold individually.There are some dents in some of the dice that got filled in with paint. They're not very obvious, but not amazing either.One of the faces on the d20 didn't get embossed deep enough. It makes the number less clear.From those findings, I'd say the build quality is okay. Not great.Conclusion:For the original non-sale price these are simply too expensive. With the half-off sale, they're okay. I don't agree with the mystery only buying option. The set I got is not something I would bother to point out when showing off my collection. I wouldn't risk buying another mystery pack, because I'll most likely get another not-so-exciting set or just the same set.

I recently picked up the QMAY Polyhedral Dice set, which comes with 8 mystery dice in various styles and a dice bag. The dice bag is decent enough for storing and transporting your collection, though obviously it's not a premium $40 bag and won't survive any extreme abuse (definitely not suitable as an improvised weapon!). The dice themselves feature rounded molds with numbers that are refreshingly clear and easy to read, even in dimmer lighting conditions. They roll well and serve their purpose for casual gaming sessions.

For $19 I was expecting a pretty cool set of dice, but there's absolutely nothing special about the dice I received. Yes, they're nice dice but you can get 10 sets of essentially the same dice for the same price. These are just acrylic dice, tumbled with rounded edges. The numbers are clear and easy to read. So nice dice, but way, way, way overpriced, especially since you have no idea what style you'll end up with. These are worth $3-$5 at most.
