Installed in my 1975 Corvette. The lights are quite bright, but can be dimmed with the older rheostat switch. The dimming isn't as smooth or precise as with incandescent bulbs, but the trade off for bright, white lights that (hopefully) will last a lot longer than the originals is worth it.(Not a fun job to do on the older C3 Corvettes, but certainly possible using YouTube video tutorials!)

Looks good. Well made. However, 3 stars because they do not work in my 1895 light sockets. They fit, but dont work.

Disappointing :(. Contrary to other reviews the light output is dismal. The light was a faint white not bright at all. Bought these to replace my OEM map lights in my 4runner. The 20 year old halogen it was to replace is 10 times brighter. Tried several bulbs in the pack hoping it was just a dud. Unfortunately every bulb was the same lousy output. These are NOT the lumens they advertise and will go back.Buy different brand. These are duds.
