Light was ok but while doing final wire up one of the wires broke away from solder on board.Got it soldered back on and I'll be damned if the other wire broke from solder area on board.Personally i would not recommend this particular model. Wiring is to flimsy.

The laser pointer that guides my wife's A-1 longarm quilting machine died and they wanted $150 to replace - specialized cable connection, etc. We ordered this and I soldered it to the old cable, added a shim in the clamp mechanism (diameter was a bit smaller than original) and taped it all up. The ability to focus it dialed it right in. I tested the old cable to make sure the voltage matched before I ordered it. It works great and was a low cost solution.
