I purchased these boots hoping they would suffice for dog walks in the fields and woods around my place. They may be the stiffest pair of boots I have ever had. I've worked at limbering them up and have succeeded to a point. They are still stiff, but they will work for my purpose. The stiffness around the ankle was the most troublesome, but I've got them to a point where they feel OK now. They are accurately sized and fit better than I expected. The construction is comparable to boots of this type which cost about double. I have not forded streams with them, but they have repelled the water I've encountered. I've also had them in snow and can report that they were stable under some slippery conditions.Overall, I'm satisfied with them and, depending on how they hold up over time, I am inclined to purchase them again.

This is a real review at 10 miles of medium/easy terrain. These boots look incredible and feel like my 260 dollar ones. They are unbelievably comfortable, have great support and do well in the gravel and mud. They are super light, and have adequate ankle support. The seams are holding tight as if they came out of the box. I haven’t submerged them in water, however there was no moisture felt from the mud terrain I was in. Overall this is an excellent, affordable and comfortable boot.

These boots have a good grippy tread. They are lightweight, and are waterproof. They run true to size. And the laces are designed to be quick to tie, with the top two positions anchored with hooks. They also have removable insoles. Those are the good points. Unfortunately, I found them to be extremely stiff, especially at the tops of the uppers. I expected there to be some stiffness in a new pair of boots, but I figured after a few wearings they would limber up. Unfortunately, after just a few four-mile hikes over moderately rough terrain, my ankles where the tops of the uppers rubbed them were so bruised and sore that I had to put the boots aside for a while. Once the soreness was gone I tried the boots again, but after just a couple of miles of brisk walking on flat ground the result was the same. So I will not be wearing these boots again. (I hate to just discard them, and since someone who doesn't hike or do a lot of brisk walking might be able to wear them, I am considering donating them to a homeless shelter in hopes someone else can use them.) At any rate, I don't know if anyone else has had this problem, I can only speak to my own experience. But since I can't wear these I am unable to comment on their overall quality and durability. But I can say that for me they don't have much functionality, and certainly don't represent good value for the money. I cannot recommend this product.

I ordered these on 1/11/25 and I could hardly wait for them to arrive. They arrived 11 days later (as was the estimated delivery date) and what a surprise I had. These are fantastic! Better than my old Nike hiking boots, which I haven’t been able to wear due to a severe orthopedic injury to my left foot over 30 years ago. My left foot is slightly narrower than my right making shoes a bit difficult to fit both feet. The soft canvas top makes it easy to tighten up the laces so they both fit snugly with very good ankle support. Unlike my Nike boots these go above the ankle about 2" giving great protection and support to the ankle. The sole design is very aggressive giving you the grip you will want and need when climbing on rocks, trekking through water and other surfaces wet or dry. I poured 10oz of water over them relatively slow and my feet stayed dry. This is not saying if you walk through a semi-shallow stream or puddle of water your feet won’t get wet but it is pretty safe to say your feet will stay dry (for the most part) while walking in the rain. There appears to be good arch support but my arches are a little higher than normal so I may need to insert an arch support. These are very comfortable and I suspect they will become more comfortable as they get broken in. Unfortunately for me that will have to wait until late spring when things get warmer.

For the last decade, I've only purchased on of the big name brands for hiking boots. They fit me and worked perfectly, but they were pricey. I figure it was worth the expense to have quality shoes. These shoes are less than half the price, and do a good job.I was hesitant to buy shoes online, especially a brand I'm not familiar with. Depending on the shoe, I'm a 9.5(US) or 10(US). I bought 10. I'm not sure if 9.5 would have been better, but I didn't get both. The 10 fit fine, maybe a little big, but not enough to cause problems with casual use of the shoes. Maybe if I was hiking through canyons, I would have wanted to try both sizes. Also, the boot is loose above the shoelaces, which is expected, but the laces don't go up as high as I would like. This means I get some awkward looseness at the top of the boot, where it meets my pants. It's not a problem, but I do like a sturdy shoe above the ankle.I've worn the shoes for a week, a week that saw below zero temperatures, snow, and ice. My feet have stayed dry and warm. Nothing without spikes will keep you from slipping on ice, but these did a good job. The amount of slipping on ice was less than expected. Honestly, I've been impressed with these. I haven't taken them on a hike, but they have held up great for walks around town in a few inches of snow and ice in sub-zero temperatures.
