We ordered two beds from Amazon in the same price range and I assembled them on back-to-back days. The instructions for this one were in German but if you're familiar with furniture assembly the pictures are just fine.Goods:- The metal frame is sturdy and held together with good hardware- The bed slats attach easily with velcro (the other bed required measuring and screwing into place)- My son loves USB power and LED lights- Pocket on the headboard for your phone while you chargeBads (nit picking just so there is at least one bad):- The mounting points for the headboard magnets were not quite in the right spot. With the way the hinges lock I'm not sure they're actually necessary. This is for the door that hinges open on the headboard.- It's light and moves around on a wood floor. Easily remedied with a rug.Overall, this bed was ~$40 more than another we purchased on Amazon but I would say $200 nicer.

My previous bed kept hitting my feet, and now I have changed to a different type of bed, which is wrapped in a thick plush fabric around the bed and feels very safe from getting hurt

It took two adults about an hour and we did it all without difficulty. First make sure you have all the parts and then assemble them. Instructions at each step are useful when putting the bed together and identifying the parts. The bed color is beautiful, it is a neutral color that can match any color scheme in our bedroom. The structure looks solid and our mattress fits perfectly - there is no gap between our bed frame and the mattress.

The setup is definitely doable alone, just make use of the walls for propping up heavier pieces when drilling. Honestly after using this bed for about a month now I’m pretty happy with it for the price I paid. No squeaks or creaks and the bed itself is pretty damn sturdy (surprising since the materials seemed cheap). If you’re debating on getting this bed, go for it, it’s probably better than the other options at this price point.
