They will work for my application, but they are almost impossible to slide in and out. I have to use a rubber mallet. I tried dry lube but that didn’t help at all.

Seemed cheap out of the box and a little fiddly to make it operate but once I installed it with a seat mounted all that changed. I’m very happy with the seat mount for the price. Swivel action is properly resistant without being a burden to operate. The seat latch works well. I would not lean back hard, some of the construction is plastic but the important parts are metal and I don’t think I’ll have any trouble. An average amount of care in the seat mounts use should ensure a long life. Great for the price.

Product bends under any use. I found out materal is thinner that the name brand one. also you must remove the steel bracket and 4-6 screws to even get access to the rear mounting screws. Also seat swivel has no bearings at all and will fail in only a matter if time.

The swivel pedestal allowed me to keep the seat in my boat had a perfect height for the tiller engine. Super easy to mount works. Perfect couldn’t be happier.
