I used these to slightly expand a set of tire chains to accommodate larger tires. Cut existing links and replaced with these. Working well for me.

These are great for coupling chains. I have been building a log home and I have used these for coupling chains to secure items to my tractor forks and front bucket along the way. They have held up to the tasks I have thrown at them and I will continue to work with them until they fail to perform.

My only use for these is to manually latch the doors of my Honda Element in order to not drain the battery. They do however appear to be sturdy and could handle a bit of weight.

The parrot can eventually unscrew the links after a couple days but it has not gotten hurt by one in all the years I’ve used them. They are cheap and I can use a lot of them. They last for years. They can be cleaned easily.
