I carry four 4 lb units in my jeep. I use the Velcro mounts mostly but wanted something a bit faster to deploy and the bonus is this looks sharp to boot. So far I haven’t had a need to use it but my test pulls were much faster from this than the Velcro straps.

Overall I like this product for my own use, but I do have some concerns.If I'm using the product I have no concerns since I know what to expect. If I have to tell someone else to grab the extinguisher or they try grabbing it on their own I start having concerns.The first concern is that the pin on mine takes about 14 to 16 pounds of force to pull when measured using a scale I have. I like this because it is nice and sturdy and I feel confident its not going to fall out.My second concern is that there is no instructions on the quick release.My third concern is that in some of the photos it shows the pin on the bottom, so that is how I mounted it.I could absolutely see a scenario where someone is trying to figure out how to release this and they don't realize they just need to pull harder. And I can see a scenario where there extinguisher immediately falls when they do get the pin loose.I have some things I'm going to address my concerns I listed. I'm going to remount it with the quick release on top. I will need to change where I mount this at because I want the pin still facing outwards and the pin, at least on mine, only fits in one way.I'm also going to attach a pull handle with a label on it that says something like pull me. This way in an emergency situation if someone else needs to use this they will immediately know what they need to do, aka pull the pull me handle.

I have used this mount to attach a fire extinguisher in the interior sleeping compartment of an overland trailer. I use the trailer frequently on very rugged and uneven terrain, with a lot of side-to-side and up-and-down bouncing. These forces warranted sturdier bracketry than the simple over-center latching strap which came with the extinguisher. So far, this mount has proven completely secure. My only complaint is that the release pin really is not very "quick" at all. It takes a fair amount of force to dislodge this pin and free the extinguisher. Granted, this is a relatively inexpensive all-ABS-plastic mount. A sprung-plunger-style locating pin in a billet aluminum bracket might have yielded smoother operation, but perhaps at much higher cost. Hopefully I will never need the extinguisher in a time-critical crisis, and hopefully the sticky pin won't become my ruin. Overall, I am thus far happy with this order.

The MSIZOY Quick Release Fire Extinguisher Mount Holder arrived today. (Fast shiping). Truthfully, I was not expecting much for the price. ($17.99 ). It comes with all the mounting hardware as advertised. It looks like solid construction. I successfully mounted the fire extinguisher in my truck. I don't know if it's any faster release than any other holder, but it's definitely a solid mount , would recomend . One item I hope I never need to use. Thank You

This is by far, hands down the best fire extinguisher mount I have come across. It uses standard hose clamps which can be trimmed for the size extinguisher and you can get new ones at the hardware store if you get a bigger one. I used to have a strap style and it just wasn't working well, this one stays put and holds the extinguisher super tight but it's also really easy to get off. Just pull the big maroon pin and the extinguisher pivots right off. I will update as soon as we get some more miles with it but so far I love it.

The fire extinguisher mount was super easy to install on the roll bar of my Jeep Wrangler. The adjustable metal bands were a little long, but you can manipulate them to tuck in the mount slot so they aren’t sticking out. The construction is sturdy. Went off-roading and the mount holds tight. I also like the quick release and had no problems with the pin. I didn’t have a fire extinguisher mount before, so I’m happy! It feels great to be prepared for an emergency.
