Wanted to be sure I was taking care of my honey-colored leather shoes. I was leery from the beginning as this container looked like it was not as full as it should have been. This stuff dried the leather right out and the shoes look terrible. I had to use petroleum jelly on them to make them shiny again. Very disappointed in this product. Will not order again.

The sponge has a reservoir of some kind of oil or silicone, but there's not a lot of it.
