I saw this, knew I needed a new hydrofoil for my powerboat, and ordered it. It’s a good looking set of fins I got in the bright blue, and I took a chance. Thing is, when I showed it to my mechanic, he said it was not robust enough for my boat with its V6-engine and powerful thrust.No stars off for that. But do remember, while the product description says this is good for outboard engines AND sterndrives, it does not say up to what horsepower. I'd say, it's better for an outboard.

Easy to install with proper tools for the 4.3 merc. Tools needed offset drill and shorter drill bits so you don’t have to take off the prop !!!

I put this on a 200hp 2 stroke engine, planes almost instantly now. I wish I would have gotten black but gray looks nice too. Easy to install, all hardware included

This stabilizer is very nice. It is well made and a fraction of the price of the name brand. Installation is straightforward with basic hand tools. I did notice a slight improvement in planning but I liked that it prevented less water spray in full trim.

Mounted on my Hangkai 12hp outboard. Fit nicely, good quality. I had thought it might end up being too large for the small outboard and look weird or not function right, but it looks fine and works good. I put fins on all my boats, of any size, because they help you plane out quicker and seem to help keep my smaller boats from leaning so much in sharp turns. Recommended.

They are much heavier and thicker than big store fins. They fit the same with the same bolt pattern. they sort of have a textured feel, which is not great for antifouling. overall, I would rate them higher than the other fins I have.
