I purchased these for an idea I had that didn't work out. The lack of success had nothing to do with the product. There were other more expensive options available on Amazon when I bought these. I'm glad I selected the least expensive option. These seem very susceptible to scratching but properly handled that should prevent them from being useful and functional.

Both prisms arrived in a cardboard box with a single bubble wrap envelope. That was a mistake. The 2 prisms clearly crashed into each other during transit causing both prisms to be chipped. The 2nd photo shows the chips still in the bubble wrap envelope.Thankfully, my project does not require the entire prism to be intact to work, so I will keep these. I recommend that the manufacturer package each glass prism separately to avoid this type of damage and future returns.

These arrived damaged, but were instantly replaced. Now, all is fine.They were shipped together in a bubble wrap bag (bother shipments).The edges and corners in the first were chipped. The 2nd . . . OK.Note! The sides have a ground glass surface rather than being a flat optical one.This IS shown in the images.

Be careful when ordering as one side is mirror finished which may make a difference.

Vendor shipped promptly and the prisms were of good quality however, they arrived with minor chips on the edges. There were other reviews where people mentioned the same… Either they are just packaged poorly OR these are “factory seconds” and are being sold cheaply because of these flaws.
