I bought this to remove the adhesive from the rear of my car after I removed the TSI badge from the back of my VW.Was a 5 minute job and worked great without damaging the paintwork.

I was using the wheel for the first time and only removed a few inches of a decal and the wheel came apart and went flying off

I have used rubber wheels throughout the years. This was fairly easy to use. I didn't like that it basically buffed the sticker color into the paint of the vehicle. I haven't ever came across this in my years of detailing, until now. Whether it was the sticker or the wheel, I'm not sure. Just making a statement based on my experiences.

This removed the old body molding tape and foam properly. Use the tool flat, not tipped on the corner. That causes premature wear. Rotate it 90 degrees to the strip or the work so the material and the glue, is heated from the friction. Then it sticks together and rolls away from the wheel in a blob. Wear gloves. I found it works better without an adhesive remover. A high pressure carwash wand will remove a lot of the foam rubber and make removal of the backing take less time. I did two 1/2" by seven or eight foot strips in about 1.5 hours. I'm over 70 and my back hurt the next day - BUT this is a good buy.

Excellent decal remover. Very messy but it’s easy and it gets the job done. Remember not to keep the wheel in one spot too long. It will burn the surface. Just keep moving and let the wheel do its job. Highly recommend. ⚓️⚓️⚓️

I purchased this to remove vinyl from my car that had been literally baked on with the hot sun. I wasn't sure how to get this vinyl off the car without damaging the paint (which I had done in certain areas by using a heat gun). This product made quick easy work of removing the vinyl without damaging the paint. I'd highly recommend this for anyone trying to remove vinyl/decals off their vehicles.

It worked and cleaned off without damage to my paint. Be patient and give the eraser time to cool or it becomes sticky. I found that using my 20Volt battery-operated drill worked better than running off a corded drill. It does leave a bit of a mess, but it wipes off for the most part, the little tacky spots left I used a buffer with a little bit of cleaner. My biggest selling points: Ships fast, the price was great, worked great and there was no damage to the paint.I will buy this product again.

Do not buy this product. I used it to remove the decals on my RV, and after only 10 minutes it came apart. The rubber wheel has separated from the rod that goes into the drill. I will contact the seller and see if their after sales service is better than the product. As you can see the wheel is still brand new, i haven't even had time to wear it down.I did send an email to the seller..... no answer from him ! I will contact amazon to return it.***Update, I returned it to Amazon and had a full refund. BUT i contacted the seller, and he has a really great after sale service. He sent me a new wheel at no charge. I just received it today.

So I purchased 3 different versions of this product... the 3M Stripe Off Wheel (expensive) and the ABN Rubber Eraser Wheel 4in Pad & Adapter. I had to remove 10 year old sun baked 2-layer vinyl lettering from a fiberglass hull boat. (I am changing the name of the boat). The letters were each about 6-8 inches tall. The layer directly against the fiberglass, where exposed to the sun, was splitting and cracking. The 2nd layer against the first layer was not cracking but was also fairly baked on. All three wheels effectively removed both layers of lettering. However, the 3M wheel left the most streaking or smearing of residual color. The ABN one was a very close 2nd place but suffered from lots of wear (like when you erase pencil with a rubber eraser). The rubber in this particular product seemed to be a little bit harder, but not hard enough to mar or damage the fiberglass. Plus the design with the gaps between the stubby squares made for much more aggressive removal of the vinyl. It left almost zero streaking. As you can see in the photo the former name "Audacious" is ghosted in the fiberglass, but is completely removed. It took approximately 90 minutes to remove the lettering.

Battery powered drills just run down to fast for large decals. However, the actual eraser disc performs perfectly. I removed a decal that spanned my whole hood on my truck. Did not harm the paint. Make sure you do not allow the drill to exceed the 3000 rpm's. You risk burning the paint if you do so. Also, do not try to remove a decal that is on plastic such as some fenders on cars. It is a disaster waiting to happen. When I tried to remove a decal from plastic it ripped the decal and the paint off! The eraser disc should do the trick on metal or glass without a hitch.
