These hiking boots are sooo cute! My 10-year old loves them. She and her dad recently went hiking together, and she said they were really comfortable and prevented her from slipping on the dirt. The shoes are super well made and sturdy, and I could see them lasting for quite some time. The colors are so pretty, too. Soft lavender, aqua, and pink, perfect for my girly girl who loves the outdoors. Highly recommended!

These kids boots are very sturdy and well-made. The treads are rugged and grippy. My daughter loves the color and style. And while she is now very good at tying her own laces, she still prefers the convenience of Velcro straps over laces. The one disappointment I have with these boots is that the elastic cords in lieu of laces aren’t adjustable. That makes the boots harder to put on and take off since the cord can’t be loosened. It also means the fit is not adjustable. Right now, since I went up a half size so that these boots would fit my daughter over the spring and summer, they are both slightly too tight to get on easily and too loose because her foot needs to grow into them. The lack of adjustability of the cords means a shorter window where they will be the right fit.

So I've read this description 4 times now looking for the part where it says NO LACES. There are bungee cords, and that part is pretty clear, but not the fact that they can't be adjusted anywhere. I've had bungee laces, like from the running store, and they always, ALWAYS get cut down to size and come with a cord lock for any necessary adjustments - or you can just tie them like regular laces in some instances. The bungees here are attached directly to the shoe basically right up under the velcro strap, and obviously cannot be adjusted. That means these either fit as laced, or they don't. There's a reason shoes have laces - well, more than one, actually. Some shoes have to be unlaced to get into them at all - and these ARE harder to get into than boots with proper laces - and ALL shoes with functional laces have custom fit, at least where the laces are, up to the point where the sides of the shoe touch, at least.I'm not inherently against non-adjustable bungee laces as a general matter. I think they're a GREAT option for folks who need or prefer them, kids with fine motor issues due to age or other factors, and probably a lot of other circumstances. What's NOT okay is just to.... not mention the fact that the bungees don't tie or adjust in ANY WAY.The vecro strap on these also had little strings peeling off the top of the fabric on one of the shoes, so I'm not sure these are bound for great longevity.

Our daughter loves them. They are easy to put on/off, very sturdy and provide her support, and the color choices are perfect. They also provide excellent grip.

I bought these for my 9-year-old for an upcoming trip to South America, which will include a lot of hiking. In my opinion, this color is absolutely adorable. The shoes feel well-built, especially when pressing the seams between the sole and the upper part, where most hiking shoes separate. Keeping them clean might be a challenge, but since they’re hiking boots, a little dirt won’t be a problem!

In the package you get the pair of hiking boots which come in a standard shoe box.I got these shoes as a birthday present for a close family friend who was turning 5 years old. I ordered size 12 for her, which is one size larger than she normally wears. The boots fit her very well, and they were easy to slip on.We love the fact that they use bungee cords for the laces, and a velcro closure for the top. That means that there are absolutely no laces to tie with these shoes. Her first use of the shoes was to go out skiing in the backyard. Since they are waterproof, they kept her feet dry, and she absolutely loved them. The shoes are well designed with a high waterproof line, removable insoles, and an aggressive tread pattern. The tread will probably last longer than your child can wear through them, since kids grow so quickly. What drew me to these shoes most was the cute design and color patterns that girls love. That worked out well, as the recipient’s eyes lit up when she opened up the box.Overall I'm very pleased with these shoes and feel that the recipient will get a lot of good use out of them.

Fantastic hiking shoe for kids. These shoes really offer a lot of support around the ankle. They are easy to get on and off and my daughter appreciates the Velcro. The insole is cushioned with padding and arch support. The outsole is heavily treaded for grip and stability. The appear to be well made and certainly designed well. My daughter appreciates the beautiful colors too!! I feel like the extra help of this good hiking shoe gives her the support she needs for a little bit longer hikes. I definitely recommend.

Adorable pair of waterproof hiking boots for girls. Elastic laces with easy on and off Velcro strap that kids can manage. I love the colors. The tread reminds me of the tread on my expensive hikers and actually flair out a bit for added stability. There are no lights and sounds just a solid constructed hiking boot. The tongue is sewn about 2/3 of the way up so splashes should keep small feet dry. Greatest challenge was the sizing. I would recommend measuring the feet as indicated.Grand daughter (and her Mom) love these boots! Wait for a coupon to get these near $40.
