These springs are shorter than the stock springs that came in the bike so had to find a way to make up that difference for preload. Couldn't find any spacers online that appeared would work (and those I did see were pretty expensive) so ended up making spacers using schedule 40 PVC. Seems substandard but apparently this is the way folks do it based on various references. The PVC is solid and I have no reason to believe it won't work but would be nice if Racetech also included or sold spacers. If they do sell them, I couldn't find them.
