I can now put it where ever I want and it doesn’t fall off, the only downside is it shakes but I can’t tell it won’t fall off

If you were wondering, like I was, yes these are directly comparable with GoPro mounts. So if you we’re considering buying upgraded aluminum hardware.Shown here is two complete units (so that I could picture the tops and bottoms of each part).Nice 3M tape, screwed together (not glued) mounting hardware. Appears to be stainless steel just like high end mounts. And the magnet is “as strong or stronger” than my factory Escort mount magnet.All around great product for the price.

Works okay for my Escort Maxcam360c, very easy to install and place. Holds well but it does tend to wobble a bit but never tilts and loosens. Just wish It came with extra adhesive as it does say that once you remove the mount you cannot reuse it on another car.

I bought this to replace the exact mount that only lasted a year. It seams to be the only option for the Escort Mag mount available, that’s not a suction cup. The mount’s base cracked.

It's a good mount! If I was to nit-pick, the detector jiggles a little bit in my truck, driving down even relatively smooth roads, but not a deal breaker.

Update to Original review:I used epoxy to fix the magnet falling out of housing only to have the mount fall apart 5 weeks later. Great concept but poor overall quality..... Guess I have to buy the aluminum one made by blendmountWell I don't like to flame a product with a 1 star review across the board but this one deserves it. Fell apart on the first day of use, literally..... the magnetic pod fell out of the holder and dropped my radar detector. I would not use or recommend this product to anyone. Junk!

They had to send me out a replacement because the first one fell off my windshield while sitting in my garage. Wasn’t even that hot but second one came in quick. This time the double sided tape was gorilla glue tape and it’s holding strong.
