The original cap on my '12 Lexus IS 250 finally gave up. The seals inside hardened and began to crack due to age, I'm sure the chemicals it keeps under pressure at above boiling temperatures and the Arizona heat, and my car lost the pressure required for the coolant system. Needless to say I started experiencing strange readings from my coolant temp guage. After diagnosis it turned out I needed a new cap to seal properly, and ensure system had proper amount of coolant and purge system of air. Everything is back to normal and works as should. Works and fits as described!

I needed a replacement radiator cap for my 2008 Lexus IS 250, Bc it was leaking coolant, the replacement cap looks very similar, but you can tell it’s not the oem one, does the job and fits perfect.
