My previous sensor was replaced 3 years ago and finally went bad. My car was overheating but the fans turned on with the AC but not with a cycle. I unsnapped the pigtail connected to it and tested it by placing both ends of a opened paper clip into the metal and it cut the fans on; therefore, letting me know my sensor was bad.I replaced with this using a 15/16 deep socked and NO overheating issues!Simple and cheap fix! Thank you to the seller for a great & affordable product! Got a 2nd one as a back up just in case I need it again.
