had a Great planes surface deflection guage for years. The spring wires always wanted to come out. This design prevents this from happening. face plate is easy to read. Better than picture online.

If you build or just want to check your RC aircraft this is a must have tool that is needed to help you fly true and straight. I am building some old kits that my dad has passed onto me as he is not building them anymore. I needed this to help with the adjustments and make sure I was getting this as true as possible. Great addition to the shop.

This tool takes the guess work out of setting your rates and throws. For my planes, all under 1.2 meters, the wings usually aren't big enough to allow the tool to grip by itself, so I'm still using one had to hold it steady. It sure beats holding up a ruler and guessing where the aileron is reaching. I took off 1 star for it not being adjustable for smaller surfaces.
