You never know how important CB radios can be but when the power is out and you need to communicate, this is the perfect device. That’s actually what we got it for just in case there is an emergency and we have no power and we need to communicate, but it’s also fun to use in daily situations. It works good and actually picks up pretty good reception with low static. You can mount it in a car on a boat and an RV because it is driven by 12 V power and from what I can tell, the range works a good distance. Comes with amounting hardware, which is convenient and easy to install

Small and simple, but in the year 2025 no one on the bands. Great for 2-way radios together though.

This CB Radio is powered by two stripped wires and operates from DC power. I was able to wire this up to a converter at 12v and get it operating just fine. The wires are marked for positive and negative sides of the current, so it's pretty easy to get it operating. It also doesn't come with an antenna. So out of the box, it really looks like this radio was intended to be wired into a car or a truck. That said, I got it working and tested some of its features. You can adjust brightness, power levels, radio beep and sound (on/off). I like the channel scan feature, and it switches between AM/FM frequencies (though I didn't see anything indicating that it picked up standard radio stations). The mic holds neatly in the hand, but I feel it's a tad small and I like more heft/weight in mine, but it works.

I'm using this along with various other radios of different types and so far this has been a nice basic CB.It has all the features you'd expect.Installation was easy with the included mounting bracket and it wired right into distribution block. This is a decent radio for the price. My only complaint was that the mic feels small, but maybe that's just me.

The CB is nice and compact, but also does a great job going the distance with reception. This is useful for road trips, but really the only ones using this sort of thing right now are long range truckers it seems. Still, it can be very useful as a tool to listen to their wisdom of the roads. You never know when alternate forms of communication might be needed though, so we're glad to have this in the arsenal.

Works great! Picks up channels very cleanly. Wiring was really easy to do even for someone who has never hardwired anything before. Great radio for the price!

This compact CB radio is intended to be installed as a base unit or mobile. It sports all the expected basic features, including PA, and has a very easy-to-use interface with a large, dimmable 2.2" display. It may take a few moments to get used to the menu, but it's fairly easy to navigate.Notable bits:* Easy to use* The speaker mic is unusually small but works very well* There's a power level option in the menu but it doesn't seem to do anything.I connected it at home to test it, having not touched a CB radio in decades. I was surprised that even in a suburban area I picked up traffic on a couple of channels, and was able to communicate and get confirmation that transmission was clear and clean. At this price point, this is a good radio. If you're just looking for something to install in your rig for those times when it's nice to have for simple communications or emergencies, this will do the trick without breaking the bank.
