It works well but as others have remarked the adhesive on the velcro strip isn't the best but holding for now. A few drops of ca would probably solve that or so good 3M double sided tape.

Great Fit for my Traxxas X Max ,keeps the Snow and Gravel away form the Motor ,would buy again ,The Only think i did not like was the Velcro supplied for it it did not stick to good ,but i found some HD Velcro for it and no Problem from than on

Seems to keep grass and gravel out of the center of the vehicle decently. A good effort for being an aftermarket product, but I basically had to guess where it was meant to attach, as there was no documentation included in the package. I did not find an obvious way to attach the Velcro in one piece, so I had to cut it in several areas. I also found that the adhesive on the loop side of the tape was not that great. I will probably end up using hot glue or CA glue to fix this. The zipper was also a bit sticky out of the package due to it not being the best quality either. My gripes aside, this dust cover appears to function as well as one would expect for the price point.

After prepping the chassis with alcohol to clean anything off it that may cause an adhesion issue. I began the process of installing it. left the truck overnight in the hopes it would stick better. Yeah, 30% or more was detached from the chassis when I looked at it in the AM. Used heavy pressure in an attempt to keep it secured. Ended up just removing it. It's a great idea but needs to be improved.

Really like the cover and the velcro included doesn't stick well to plastic so I ended up buying some better stuff and now it's just fine. A great upgrade I you drive in the loose dirt or sand

Got this for my husband and he said he has no idea how to install this in his x Mac chassis . Seems like missing Velcro . The way it came there is no way to install it

I read the reviews about keeping the heat inside this, Yes it holds a little heat, but im not any of the people on youtube bashing the heck out of this car.... So it works awesome for me. Ran it for 3/4 of a battery set @ 50% in the snow and had no thermal issues at all. Best part was it was actually all dry. Loving it so far.

I was a little worried the dust cover may not fit or be rubbish quality...BUTIt fits my x-maxx 8s perfectly, is of decent quality and it arrived VERY quickly. 2 weeks earlier then what the tracking id said!It also works very well to keep stones/sticks and debris out of the chassis. but it does trap the heat in somewhat!Overall i am pleased with the purchase and would reccomend this item.
