The straps do not stay tight you have to put them in knots if you want to keep them from undoing themselves when you're riding

The lower portion of these bags unzips from the bottom which lets anything in it fall out when the bag is unzipped. Apparently the designer never tried to use it. The upper bag is excellent and has a clear flap which is very handy.If they redesigned the lower bag this would be good, as it is, the bottom bag is almost useless. Would not recommend to a friend.
