This is an upgrade from my previous all-PVC rain suit, which I had to get rid of because it split in an unfortunate place. It's made of two layers, a thin polyester fabric shell with a very thin PVC lining (which, after some years, will inevitably crack and flake off), and seems to be properly sewn, with even seams and extra stitching at stress points. I washed my car and worked outside for a several hours, all the while in pouring rain, and stayed completely dry. The knees did not soak through despite frequent squatting and some kneeling. The jacket's I would have liked to have an inside chest pocket for my phone.The hood has a lot of extra material, like it's sized to wear over a hardhat. If you're not wearing one, you'll probably want to put on a baseball cap to hold the hood out of your eyes. The material is so light that any breeze, including just from walking, will blow the hood off your head if you don't tie it.I'd say this is a good rain suit for occasional use. Because of the thin, lightweight fabric, it's not suitable as heavy-duty outdoor workwear. I'd say it will be durable enough for daily dog walking or light outdoor work.

My son wanted something to keep him dry during short tasks that involved water - power washing our long driveway, doing garden work in the rain, walking the dog in the rain,and more. This works well. It’s large enough to throw on over regular clothes while working in the wet. The suit is made from a very thin fabric so it’s probably not going to work for the people doing road construction all day in the rain. Thin as the fabric is, it does keep the water out. The only spot that could be improves is where the collar and the hood meet. The hood should be attached to all of the collar to provide better protection for the face and front of the neck. The pants are big enough and long enough on my son to cover his shoes. He is 6’ tall and 225 lbs. the XXL fits him with room to spare. The bright yellow and reflective stripes make this suit very visible. It’s a good one and folds small enough to throw in the car in case one has a nighttime breakdown. Putting on the jacket over existing clothing would greatly increase visibility while outside the car it’s at a price were this is an affordable safety hedge.
