  • Be alerted of system issues including electrical, programming, or high flow (when using a flow sensor) through a red LED and scrolling messages coupled with mobile device alerts when used with the LNK WiFi Module and the Rain Bird app.
  • Large text and symbols make the color-coded dial positions easy to understand. Large 3” back-lit screen is clear to read in dark garages or sheds.

Features

WiFi Connectivity

By simply plugging in a Rain Bird LNK WiFi Module (sold separately), users can access, operate and monitor their irrigation system from anywhere. Internet-based weather information is used to make daily adjustments to the irrigation schedule, saving up to 30% in water.

Flow Monitoring

Compatible with multiple sizes and makes of wired flow sensors for flow monitoring and notifications to save water and protect against property damage.

Bypass Rain Sensor by Station

Bypass the rain sensor for stations under an eave or deck or in a greenhouse for consistent watering.

Seasonal Adjust by Program

Save water by changing the seasonal adjust from 5% to 200% for corrected run times without changing the scheduled times.

One-Touch Watering

With the dial in the AUTO position, just press and hold the right arrow button to start manually watering the current program.

Contractor Default

Simply save a default program and if the original watering schedule is overwritten in error, easily restore it in just two steps.

Programming Recommendation

Rain Bird recommends that the maximum irrigation zone cycle time be less than the time required for runoff to begin and that there be adequate soak time before the next irrigation cycle of that same zone begins again.

this was a replacement for a 20 year old Rain bird unit that still worked but wanted the wi-fi feature was easy to change over and was the cheapest place around.

OMG, customer service is superb. After ordering this model, I contacted customer service to make sure I ordered everything I needed and Jamie responded immediately. I realized after I made the purchase I didn't need one of the modules, (my system has 9 stations and this controller was for 16 stations). Jamie suggested instead of returning the entire unit, just return the extra module and they will refund the difference. Quick response from seller, easy installation, loving the WiFi function and the app is very easy to use. If you are searching the market for a new irrigation sprinkler control, I highly recommend this brand and most definitely purchase from this seller. You wont be disappointed.

Swapping the wiring from my almost 20 year old RainBird 16-zone controller was a piece of cake. I had it done in less than 1.5 hours after work one day. The wireless module is working from the RainBird iPhone app and it was easy to add a WR2 rain sensor. Overall very happy and wish that I'd upgraded to a WiFi enabled system a long time ago.

Just disconnected a 13 zone 17 year old Rainbird system. Very easily transfer out wires from one to another- but time consuming, and had to install the new controller on wall in place of the other.Zone 1-4 work great. The expansion modules all failed! No rhyme or reason why this didn't work- simple setup. Expecting 88-90 degree temps for the next 5 days- so I guess I will be hand watering the whole thing until replacements.Disappointed.
