Transport water directly to your plants with 1/4 in. distribution tubing. Branch off the main line to create a feeder line to supply water to a low-flow, drip-watering device, or use as a main line in a smaller drip system. The 1/4 in. tubing, also known as micro tubing or spaghetti tubing, has a 0.250 in. outside diameter (OD) and 0.170 in. internal diameter (ID). Unlike other manufacturers that use blended recycled material for their tubing, Raindrip poly tubing has an innovative layering method, using 100% virgin content for the outer and inner layers for a more durable product, and a middle layer of recycled content. Drip irrigation systems are easy to customize, install, and operate. As part of a complete system, the supply tubing transports water to the area to be irrigated. Drip irrigation gradually and evenly waters the root zone of your plants, keeping it moist but never saturated with water. Your plants maintain the ideal balance between water and air for optimal growth and overall health. Raindrip is a leading manufacturer of drip and micro-irrigation solutions and the trusted brand of landscapers since 1972. Build, expand, or repair your system with our rigorously tested products designed to save you time and money.

A little stiff but the durability and cool color outshine any inconvenience. If you are patient in letting the tubing settle into its new shape you will be happy with the results. I love that the hoses stand out from the plants and substrate so I always know where they are and if they're clogged or not.

Advertised here as vinyl tubing but instead I got the stiffer poly tubing (more of a hassle to install)

It worked fine and the color is nice when you are putting it under that color of rock when providing drip the individual plants and shrubs, however, it would be easier to work when adding drippers and various angles (T's, L-shaped, and the drippers) if it was a little bit softer rubber making it more flexible when adding these connectors, etc. I had to hold the end of the tubing in very hot water to soften it up to get drippers on.

The tubing works very well and brown actually blends in better than black. However, I took away one star because this tubing is VERY stiff even in 90+ degree heat. I have to use garden staples to hold the tubing in place otherwise it turns my drip emitters. Because it is very stiff, it is somewhat difficult to get over the barbs on attachments. Yet once over the barb, you need to cut the tubing off; you will not be able to pull the tubing off the barb.

I am helping a friend with a container garden at their home in Mexico. I really like this product because the material is soft enough to make it easy to slip over the connectors and drip heads, but strong enough to prevent kinking. I'll take more down on my next trip as other friends are liking this setup (unfortunately, The local home improvement stores do not carry drip irrigation components).
