This really didn’t fit our toilet but my husband modified it by cutting away some of the plastic on the underside and got it to work. Sort of. We would have sent it back but were out of time. The sales info didn’t really give proper dimensions for how it should fit to clamp on inside the toilet bowl and that is a critical measurement.

I was skeptical of how sturdy this would be from the pictures. Putting it together also had me nervous as it was not the easiest to understand the instructions on, especially on which direction parts needed to be placed. But once I figured out how to anchor the seat to the toilet, it did not budge. My mother uses the arms of the seat to pull herself up from a wheelchair into a position that allows her to maneuver and it holds up to her pulling and her weight. The ease of the higher seat also is exactly what she needed to stay independent.

The base is narrow, so it becomes difficult to use the toilet paper. The arm rests get in the way so you have to partially stand to use the toilet paper
