Really good quality, easy to put together, made it much safer for my husband, who after a hip surgery needed in elevated platform over the toilet. Comfort was good on the buttock and incision site. The durability of material seems really good. Functions as expected

This item is supposed to be rated for 500lbs. The weld on one side of the front is buckling and bending the leg in, making it unsafe to use. It was set in the tub only for photo purposes. I do NOT recommend this item for anyone over 200lbs. We did not even begin to use it until a couple of days ago since my husband had a total knee replacement and was supposed to use a raised commode, even though it was purchased in early November.

Being a wider guy, being able to make it wide enough was great. It has been a godsend both before and after my surgery to be able to get on and off from.

We just moved into a new manufactured home. It is a nice home with many upgrades but the smallest and lowest toilets came standard. My husband is 6’3” and 395#. He has bad knees but now has major spinal issues which limits his ability to stand up from low sitting chairs. He has now fallen 16 times in the last 4 months needing a call to 911 for help getting up. Once he was stuck on the toilet (the tall one in our old place) (embarrassing) Before investing more money into replacing the new toilet I found this and thought we would give it a try. IT WORKS GREAT!!! It is strong and holds his weight without issues. It is adjustable and is tall enough for him. AMEN!!! Something actually worked in our favor for once. Don’t hesitate to buy this. Works well and may be adjusted in height and width of the assist handles. It is lightweight and may be easily moved. The only item that is an issue is the rubber bumpers under the front of the seat are attached with screws that protrude above the rubber bumper causing the bottom of the seat vinyl to tear.
