This was easy to put together, although it it took me a little bit to find the instructions. It appears to be sturdy and I like that it has adjustable height. This is a life saver for those who have had foot surgery and can’t use your feet to get up from the potty. I took one star off only because it came with minimal damage. The handle had damage (see photo) and the bottom of the seat had a slight damage. Overall a really good product.

Our area is quite narrow, and this fit just fine. Picture in use is on an elongated bowl, comfort height toilet. As shown, the item is adjusted for the narrowest width, and the highest position. It could probably be lowered a couple of inches if needed. Other products did not seem to adjust to this narrow a position, so this product worked very well for us.A sign of being well made is that all parts fit together as expected. They were shipped in individual plastic bags/cases, to prevent scratching. The metal is a good, solid gauge. Also, another sign was that the legs adjust and are held in place by two spring-detents opposite each other, rather than just one.The instructions were a bit confusing. The parts list items are labeled A through J, and there is an assembly drawing showing the parts as labeled. However the parts them selves also have alphabetical labels on them, and sometimes the labels seem to indicate the part in the parts list, and other times they seem to indicate what part inserts to them. It's best to ignore the alphabetical labels and follow the simple assembly steps.It can take a bit of hand strength to snap the seat onto the cross bars, but other than that assembly was easy, taking about 10 minutes. The items were well packaged for shipment.Overall a very good product that I would recommend to anyone needing this kind of product.

Easy to assemble and adjust. Very sturdy, very comfortable. Totally necessary for port surgery recovery. Would definitely recommend.

My mom loves it! We used to have to lift her off the toilet but this has given her more independence. She can use the handles to lift herself off the toilet now. Would highly recommend!! We also love how it can moved out of the way for others to use regular toilet. Very sturdy, my mom is not nervous at all. No wobbling.

My son was just in a terrible car accident where he broke his right hip, a lot of his left leg, and was overall pretty beat up by the accident. He's here, alive, and now home. This raised toilet seat with handles delivered quickly is super sturdy and easy to use with my son's walker. As his mother, the seat was a breeze to assemble, and I think I had it together in 15 minutes. I carefully followed the instructions, and they were incredibly easy to follow. I highly recommend this raised toilet seat for anyone in your family who may need something to help them on their path to recovery.

Sturdy and broad, this is great if you need assistance with the height of your loo. It’s adjustable to fit the needs of many. Nice padded seat. Works really well. I have broken legs and the functionality is top-notch. Totally worth the money because it’s easy to assemble and even easier to use. I’m being promoted to write about “use” but I think I’ve covered that by explicitly using the word twice. Thanks Amazon! And thanks toilet lift! Ooh, it can probably be decorated to resemble an actual throne. Embody regality in the midst of the unavoidable sufferable plight. Maybe keep a crown on the back of the toilet door adornment.

After breaking my tailbone we purchased a raised seat it did not work and it was hard plastic. Then we purchased this one. Seat is very soft which helped tremendously with the pain. Appreciated the soft padding on the grab bars very much. The added toilet paper holder was a plus! The specifications of the size was accurate and appreciated as it was to go into a seperate toilet room. Extra plus is it is light weight with sturdy flooring, we used it in the walking shower as a shower chair so it pulled double duty. Thank you to the manufacturer.

This was EXACTLY what we needed and I was shopping around for the perfect one, before my family member came home after 3.5 weeks in a nursing physical therapy facility. The first week and a half was brutal without this because I’d have to get up every two hours, all night long, barely getting to sleep at all myself as caregiver, because the toilet was just too low now after this injury. We already had a wide sturdy fantastic frame we bought on here years ago, but they could no longer get up using that. But because of all the adjustable features of this product, I was able to safely install it inside the existing assistance frame (which is a little heavier duty but not high enough) and keep it there and have the toilet seat really high. Now they can get up safely and easily, without any trouble every single time - and they love the soft but strong foam seat - and I can go back to sleeping at least a few hours a night, with the peace of mind that they are safe. A+. It’s been a real blessing of a find. Hope it works as well for you. (Family member is 160lbs)
