Bought it for my 90 year old mother n law. Product is middle of the line construction. But for the price it works. One thing that will cause a little frustration. The instructions on putting together. Make sure you put the red arrows in the right place. If you don't handles will not work.

Good product, assembly went well after reading the review about the matching arrows (1up 1 down). it works well as a commode, I used it for a bath bench too, for the open back position. Important to have for a large person unable to bathe themself. (The bath bench I purchased has a back rest with open front only } . Great value compared to the other equipment I have to buy. Light enough to move around while being strong enough to hold up my loved one.

I have tried 3 different types of toilet risers & this one is best & adjustable & sturdy & yes I would recommend it to anyone. Was easy to put together too.

I purchased this product to assist me following knee replacement surgery. It arrived a day earlier than initially scheduled.The product is made of good quality materials and feels solid and stable once assembled.I wouldn't say I like pictograph instructions that lack adequate written instructions.I have two tips:1. The first step of assembly is to assemble the seat cross supports. The seat support allows you to change the width of the device. I’d recommend taking this sub-assembly and checking its width with the toilet where it will be used. If you need to adjust the width later, you’ll have to remove the snap-on seat.2. As you begin assembly of the legs to the seat assembly, make sure that the arrows on the vertical member point upward. The handles have corresponding arrows that point downward. (see photo)

I bought this for my mother to use primarily over the toilet. It's comfortable, sturdy and the adjustment features are great. Assembly instructions were included and easy to follow but didn't say anything about the arrows, so I had to reassemble once I realized the arms wouldn't fit. Kudos to the Feb 2024 reviewer for attaching a great illustration!

After family member was using, this proved to be useless making a mess each time she urinated. The flatness of the seat has urine travel out following the thigh. Awful design. If the person using has a little weight on them, don’t order this because if you do you’ll be cleaning urine off the floor and person each time. Frustrating.

We didn’t get paper instructions, and use the picture on the box to help us assemble. Just make sure you match up arrows on the bars where they appear and you’ll be fine. I am truly excited about making this purchase because so often you purchase some thing that has, some sort of flaw in the design, but this item is extremely well thought out, well engineered, and very sturdy. I feel like they thought of everything. You can adjust it to many different heights, and many different widths.The seat and the grab bars are very comfortable coated with foam grips.I purchased this due to a knee injury, and use it over the toilet, but I know that it will come in handy in the future, for someone in the family, or even myself with the convenient tray that slides underneath the seat.The design of assembly will make it a snap for storage when not in use. This one’s a keeper!This is a high-quality item, and I am 100% satisfied with my purchase.
