Ram Board, 38" x 100'

Ram Board is the ultimate heavy-duty floor protection solution that is durable, reusable and easy to install. With a thickness 5 times greater than Builder's Paper, it stands strong against the messes commonly found on jobsites.Designed with Spill Guard Technology, Ram Board features exceptional liquid resistance, keeping your floors shielded from even the most extreme spills. With Vapor-cure Technology, your floors can breathe and cure effectively, maintaining their integrity.

How to Install Ram Board

  1. Calculate: Begin by calculating the number of surface protection and tape rolls needed for your project.
  2. Roll it out: Starting on one side of the room, kick out your roll of Ram Board. Keep the printed side up to prevent ink transfer.

  3. Bend it Back: To prevent roll-back, gently bend the Ram Board sheet back towards yourself and then fold it horizontally to crush the fibers.
  4. Cut: Once the sheet is flat, use Ram Board's Multi Cutter to make precise cuts.
  5. Load & Seam: Position the seamer handle on the further side, push forward and seamlessly joining your Ram Board pieces together.

  6. Anchor it down: Finally, secure the perimeter edges using Ram Board's Edge Tape, ensuring your surface protector stays securely in place throughout the project.

If you encounter any roll-back, try the bend-back method. As you unroll the board, gently curl Ram Board away from you until it folds over itself. This technique crushes the fibers horizontally, preventing the board from rolling back towards you. Repeat the process as needed.

This stuff wasn't cheap but I needed to protect the floor for drywall and paint and it held up very well. Definitely worth it over the cheaper stuff I looked at. If I would of just painting, it would be overkill but if you have a crew working on it, it's worth it.

This is just what we needed for our remodel, our demolition guy put it down and recommended using the ram board tape rather than a blue tape duct tape scenario. It did work great and was built as an entire system to use together. They have seam tape and edge tape so I would look into that for using this product. Our demo guy was a pro and highly recommended the tape to go with it.

Ram Board is tough and durable. It does a great job of protecting wood floors. We had movers walking all over it without issue. The edges tend to curl a bit. Just use plenty of tape.

We used this for moving and it worked flawlessly. We used masking tape to tape it down and our movers could roll over it easily. We kept it on for a couple days since it was raining, it absorbed the dogs wet paws really well. Overall, this was great to keep our home clean and floors scratch free! Highly recommend

Thick indeed. I use it on top of my art and crafts table.Use only on hard flat surfaces. I tried using Ram Board as a cover to protect my carpet. I now wish I had video of the experience.

Ram board did a GREAT job protecting our carpeted and tiled floors while moving into our new house. It was a rainy, messy day, and many of our appliances had to be dollied across grass and mulch to get around other obstacles. This was sturdy enough to handle the weight of a washer and dryer on a dolly rolling over plush carpet. I rolled it out "against the curl" the night before, and we had no problems with it staying where we needed it on carpet. On tile, we used some painters tape at the ends. No need for anything stronger. So glad I didn't use the sticky saran wrap type of carpet protection, with the stories of how hard it is to remove afterwards. Plus - this is reusable.

If you are a builder, remodeler, repair technician, or home delivery professional you already know how important it is to protect hardwood floors when moving people, tools, and equipment around. I purchased two rolls for a new home I moved into before the washer, dryer, refrigerator, and movers arrived and every one were relieved and appreciative that the floors were covered with Ram Board. This is thick, tough, 46mil cardboard that resists scratches and tears. I roll mine out with the logo up so that it lays flat, cut to fit, and then tape it down with 3" wide blue painters tape. I protected my floors in just over an hour. Taking the board up again is easy since the tape pulls right off. Rolling the board back up again isn't easy but it worked so well I kept most of mine when I was done for the next time I have to move something heavy over the floor. This was money well spent.

Product is great especially if you are using a a scaffold on hard wood floors and offers great protection and can be reused. However, I have learned that home depot has a similar product that is a slight bit thinner for about a 3rd of the cost. But this product worked as advertised.
