Bought a pair of these in March 2022. Installed on a 2005 F350 SD DRW. Failed and replaced last week, Jan 2024. Tried to file a claim on the lifetime warranty through Amazon, referred me to Rancho, who referred me back to Amazon as the seller. Amazon referred me back to Rancho... endless circle. No one cares. Rancho had me fill out a form and send it to Amazon... Very unsatisfied, and very unhappy... shocks are dangerous...

Okay so this specific model is for 2017+ f250 trucks with a 0-5” lift. These are front shocks and Rancho 9000xl shocks. In order to find these on Amazon I had to search the part number. They bolt on super fast. You’ll notice an immediate improvement on big hits like speed bumps and angled driveways and potholes. Definitely a better shock than bilstein 5100s which is what these replaced.

Well you get what you pay for, bought 2 of these for the rear of my 2015 Ram 2500 and I had one arrive that didn’t seem to work/ adjust right. Had a feeling they would be hit or miss. Going to most likely return both of them, and stick with Bilstein 5100’s until I afford some better built Fox adjustable shocks. Had a feeling a lasting adjustable shocks for $100 was too good to be true.

I bought all four to replace my stock shocks on my 2500 diesel. I had bought 5,000 series in the past and figured I try these 9000 series. At low speed they're not bad, but once you get over 25 miles an hour they're practically useless for control. Like others have said, I had to turn them all the way up to the stiffest setting just to handle my truck correctly on the highway but then low speed was a tooth chipping ride. And then once I finally got the tow with them, that was the nail in the coffin. The truck felt like it was constantly squirming around. I contacted rancho directly and they basically just blew me off with all my questions. I replaced them with Bilstein's and immediately see the difference of how much better my truck handles. The ranchos I can easily compress by hand even on the highest setting. So I have no doubt they can't handle the heavy diesel front end on my truck. These things are worthless and I would never buy the 9000 series again.

I had previously ordered these for the front of my truck and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the way my truck rides now with these new Ranchos on. I now ordered new ones for the rear of my truck because they are sooooo AWSOME, and they makey the truck ride a whole lot smoother and way better. I HIGHLY recommend these Rancho shocks for any trucks.

Dont waste your money on Bilstein 5100s. Adjustable is the only way to go if you tow, so I recommend these. On soft setting truck rides smooth without a load. Stiff settings get rid of almost all the bounce due to heavy pin weight on the rear.

This is really a great product. I first installed the fronts. I was very impressed with the quality of ride these gave me on my '06 Ram 2500 Diesel 4x4. Then, while towing our toy hauler, I noticed the front end was bouncing more than with the stockers. Turned them 2 clicks stiffer and the front end was smooth as silk. I couldn't believe the difference! Very much improved over stock. I liked them so much, I ordered two more for the rear. So why not 5 stars? Well, I do have a gripe. The adjusters can be very hard to turn. If you can't get your fingers directly on them for a solid twist (which you really can't on the fronts on my Dodge) you'll be lucky to get more than two or three clicks without a lot of cussing and aggravation. On the rears, I wanted to mount them with the adjusters facing the axle to keep them protected, but no can do. I wish they offered a small, flush all metal adjuster I can adjust with a thin flat blade screwdriver like my dirt bike. I'm contemplating the wireless adjuster system, but don't really want to have to deal with air line issues. Plus, that's another 400 bones!
