I thought I was buying a superior product. Within 3 months the strut on the right side leaked oil all over my driveway. Luckily amazon replaced it. Now a year later and the left side has lost all dampening and is now set to 9 and the right side to 8. The vehicle now is bouncing and very soft. I bought these to firm my ride not soften it. It drove well for 9 months only. Shame on you Rancho! Your quality control has gone to %$#*.

This is the third set on the Rancho Loaded Struts I have installed on my 2008 Chevy 1500. (I currently have 276,000 miles on the truck) The first set lasted ~130,000 miles, The second set was never right. Although I had them set on the softest ride (setting #1) the ride was so ruff my wife would not ride in the truck. I put up with that for 3 years and finally called Rancho Tech Service. They couldn’t explain why I was having the issues but informed me the Rancho shocks & struts have a lifetime warranty and directed me how to get replacements. If I had know that (Life time warranty) I would have had then replace my first set but that is another story. Anyway I have received and installed the replacement set and the vehicle rides like it was brand new (on setting #1). I like these loaded struts for the frontend lift. I put them on the softest setting and never change them (setting # 1-3 are supposed to be close to OEM). If you get a set of struts that are ruffed as **** they are defective and call Rancho to get them to send you a replacement pair. Working through Amazon to get replacements can be painful (it took over a month) but doable if you have patience.

Nice and heavy duty, half the price as stock struts and they lift your truck. I put them on my 2008 Chevy Silverado 2wd, they raised it about 3inch-4inch, more than I thought it would and I love it. Crazy enough, they weren't hard to install bolted right up and didn't have to work hard to get them in. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars is cause the hardware they sent with it was just so light weight and cheap. I used the original nuts & bolts cause they were just more heavy duty. The ride is a bit stiffer, but I'm fine with that.

If I was able to give this product less than 1 star I would. For starters, the pictures didn't match what I received, but I still wanted to install them to get an idea of how they drove on my vehicle.They rode worst than what I had on my truck, the only support came from the coil spring. I replaced these after 2 weeks. They didn't even feel safe to drive on. The red adjustment screw on the strut did nothing for me as far as driveability. I removed the coil spring and tested the strut it performed as a blown strut, I do not know how anyone would think these are worth anything. I would warn anyone thinking about buying these...STAY AWAY!! You will regret it, I promise. The only thing they did for my truck was raised it a few inches, but if that is your goal. Just use your stock strut and purchase a spacer. I ended up purchasing KYB monotube struts. They rode so smoothly, just like a new truck!

This one came from Amazon Shipping which did not appear to be new. It looked used or let say returned merchandise. Lots of scuffs on the spring and only came with one sticker. The product it self from Rancho is great. Lifted as promised and waiting for it to naturally level out. Passenger side more difficult over driver side on 2015 Chevy Silverado.

I replaced my stock front struts with these on my 2015 Denali. Installation is very easy for someone who is a decent home mechanic. If you can replace brake pads, you can replace your front struts. These raised my front end about 2.5 inches. I think the ride is fantastic, I don’t understand the reviews about the ride being too rough.

These lifted my truck about 2.25" in the front and a 1" in the rear. Tiniest bit of rake still on 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 all-terrain. I also added airlift airbags to the rear and 34.3" tires. Tires only slightly rub wheel well on extreme left turns. Ride is way better than stock and truck sits really well. Definitely recommend for anyone looking to level/lift their truck.

The QuickLift Loaded Strut does exactly what it's supposed to do. My pickup looks great now that it actually sits level and looks taller as well. These Struts allowed me to run 33" tires on my truck with absolutely no rubbing. These struts were very easy to install. There are only 5 bolts, (3 on top of the coil, and 2 at the bottom of the strut). All I had to do was take of the tires to have some working room and then I replaced the struts. On a 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500, there is no need to remove A-arms or sway bars or anything. Simply remove the bolts that holds the strut and it will drop strait through to the ground and then you can install the QuickLift Strut quickly and easily without taking anything appart. The ride is great and I am very happy with my purchase.

I've had these struts on my vehicle since I bought them last april, despite my own attempts to adjust them and two different local 4wd shops tinkering with them, the ride is terrible. I was better off with the stock high mileage struts than these. I've had no luck getting any sort of support from Rancho or Amazon.Follow up: Getting quotes to replace these awful struts and ran across a pile of them at a local off road shop, all pulled due to crappy ride. Do yourself a favor, DONT BUY THESE!!
