I have a question for anyone that can answer my question. I just purchased these filters and they fit perfectly. I noticed that they have two different sides. One side has a tab and has like a fine mesh to it. The other side has a rougher finish to it. I placed mine with the tab on the outside and am wondering if this is correct.

My old filters were just un-cleanable! I even tried the dishwasher. Grease was really built-up. These were certainly reasonable enough and they look SO much better! They do feel a bit flimsy, but the old ones were as well, so I guess they are the right replacement.

I needed to replace my hood vents for quite some time and these were a perfect replacement. They have tabs that make it easy to replace when needed and fit nice and snug in my range hood (I have a Nutone Allure). I will definitely be reordering these when I need to replace them once again.
