It’s a Rapala. It’s a quality product, runs true right out of the box without adjustments. Casts like a bullet. This is a great cold weather lure for bass and panfish.

These countdown minnows might seem gimmicky on the surface, but they are the real deal. Count 1 second for every foot of water you want to fish at and retrieve. Took this out to a local river and used some Pro-Cure Garlic Bait Wax on the sides and was hitting multiple species is a 15 minute stretch. karp/koi, trout, and I think the last one was a shad. Very interesting results for the 1st time using one. Definitely recommend to have one of these in #4 for trout at 1.5 inches long in a minnow body will attract strikes from all sorts of fish!

Haven't had much luck yet, but it's probably my technique. The lure moves nicely in the water.

While at a beautiful lake fishing for rainbow trout I was trying out a variety of lures. I spent quite a bit of time with the Kastmaster spoons but didn't have any luck catching anything. I put this Rapala on my line and after just a couple of minutes trolling I caught a great big 20 inch rainbow. This lure works a little too well. Sorta takes the sport out of fishing. But if you are hungry for fish then you'll want to use the Rapala.

With a length of only 1.5 inches, the Rapala Ultra Light Crank is an excellent forage imitation when largemouth bass are feeding on any sort of small bait fish, like bluegill or shad fry. The finish on the lure is very high quality, especially when it comes to its realistic eyes. The size 10 hooks are a bit too small for my preferences, so I replace them with two size 8 hooks, including a VMC Sure Set tail hook. To make long casts with such a light weight lure, I use a 6.5 or 7 foot long medium power, fast action spinning rod with 20 pound test braid main line and, depending on how heavy the cover, a 12 to 16 pound test, 18 inch long monofilament leader. On the Shad color, I have caught largemouth bass up to 5 pounds, 12 ounces, as well as crappie, red ear sunfish, and bluegills in the 12 inch range. My only request to Rapala is to offer the lure in their Bluegill pattern.
