I wear a size 6 & 7/8 hat size and to get a proper fit, a little over 1/2" of the tang hangs over. While it works fine, it just looks a little tacky. HOWEVER, the cap is a quality product, that looks good and wears the same. You just need a big head or be prepared to shorten the adjustment strap.

My Dad lives in a Veterans where all of the vets wear hats like these showing what war and branch they were in. He chose this one for himself and is constantly getting compliments from the other guys on the design.

I never expected the hat to be such a hit. Our father was just like me, not super into technology. He tried to send me a link to the hat from a VA store and it didn’t work. I would see the picture still and it was super tiny. I could still see the tiny picture and this hat here was rather close. He wore it almost every day after we gifted it to him and it was so much that I asked him to be buried with it. Tonight at his visitation it set off to his left in the coffin and it meant the world to me. Our veterans deserve recognition and thanks.
