Sturdy and well made but it is short of 5 stars. The release buttons are too small and too rigid. I have similar full size buckles and am used to their hold like iron until you touch to release. It’s acceptable for my purpose, but adding 1/8” to the releases, or some texture, would make it better.Gloves, wet, or cold hands under pressure… good luck.Update:So I ordered another one. Mostly because the price vs purpose made sense. Surprise, there has been a modification. The riveting is different as well and is not as tight. Still, I’ll take that over the tiny release buttons.

I honestly love this thing. but there is a catch and a reason im switching off it.The issue is that the detach clips that u need to move to separate the pieces are far to small. I have considered drilling into them and making custom extensions so that my gloved fingers can get this off easily but its not worth it. im switching over to similar products.But, some may call the fact that u cant undo it easy as a bonus and desirable. personally i dont think it is since accidently actuating both catch clips is very unlikely anyways.but ya its strong and can hold anything around your body weight easily
