This solenoid was a perfect fit for my failed OEM 1984 Mercury 50hp outboard solenoid. Easy to install, removed the old and replaced with new and it came with all new nuts, washers ECT. Worked great to get me back on the water. Has been working great all season now. A great value for hard to find parts.

I have a 1995 SeaRay 175 in excellent condition and everything worked. This year after I took it out of storage the trim down did not work although the solenoid clicked. I disconnected the green pump wire which is for down trim and connected it to positive battery pole and the pump worked. So the down solenoid did not create proper contact. I ordered this solenoid and replaced the old one and now the trim is working. The solenoids are kind of to the left and behind the pump and removing them is a bit difficult and takes time. The previous solenoid worked for about 30 years. Let's see how long this one lasts.

Not a good quality part the contact glued and kept the starter on all the time, had to disconnect the battery.This seller does 't give you the option for a return.
