I have ordered the solenoids for marine use. It is cheap quality made in China. I have returned it. No need for trial.

I used this in my 1972 Bolens lawn tractor. I've been retrofitting parts on it for 30 years. The nice thing about this is that if I want to rule out wiring issues, I can push the button on the solenoid and it manually engages the contacts and thereby activates the starter. Ford used to use these many of their cars back I think it was in the early 70's. Anyway, it worked fine.
