Unable to find a high quality adapter for my G29, I purchased this. It requires ½" or 13mm spacer(s) to clear the thumbwheel, (I just used a roll of teflon tape as a temporary solution) and longer #8 deck screws, counterbore is ⅜" or 7.5mm for screw head. GRK 1-½ R4 framing screws worked well, 1-¼ would probably work as well.

Works but doesn’t fit flush, if u are using a g923 I’d choose another option.
