I play in a league where a mat is used to call strikes (home plate is a ball) and while I can practice without a mat I prefer to have it, especially on the corner strikes. The mat used in my league is thicker and black, I don't see thickness of the mat being an issue and the orange actually is really helpful when pitching at dusk... definitely recommend to all the mat ball pitchers out there.

In our softball leagues, we go with what the umpire says. We have one umpire who is great, the others are awful. I will use this to try and convince them to use on a consistent basis. It's made well and will last for a long time. At worst this will get a great use out of practicing!

In adult slowpitch softball, the home plate requires this product. Upon receiving it, I noticed now durable it was. It is perfect for what I need it for. It is easy to clean and to roll away when not in use. It should easily last a few seasons of play. Great product. Highly recommended!

Bought for a strike zone mat for practices. Very solid and thick and will be durable through lots of use and will survive a lot of wear and tear. Used already several times and still feels like new.
