I purchased 2 of these for my sons to use with their high school baseball team. I've always been a fan of Rawlings products, especially gloves, and this helmet doesn't disappoint. The purple matte finish looks great, doesn't quickly scratch or look dirty, and most importantly, protects their skulls when in the batters box. I added the Mach face extender to both helmets which they both like for added protection. There are 2 options; adjustable and fixed. My guys both prefer the fixed extender, but both work just fine. Highly recommend this helmet for high-school caliber (or above) baseball.

Only thing was there is a fair amount of excess glue on the inside of the helmet from where the cushioning was applied

Excellent Helmet for any aged player. i would recommend having the cage bought together. Had to return it as I could not find the cage that fit this model.
