No where in the description was it stated that this glove is sized for a female hand. The description advertises this as a slow pitch softball glove, not fast pitch, so there is no clue that the glove is small.

I docked a star for the reason that the info tag attached to the glove stated the R9 glove is designed for the smaller female hand and wrist. Searching the Rawlings website for technical data for the R9 glove was unsuccessful. I phoned a tech rep at Justgloves, submitted a pic of my glove and was told R9 gloves with Black lace are for men’s slow pitch softball and R9 gloves with white lace are for women’s fast pitch softball. Although the Rawlings tag is misleading, I kept the glove and it seems to be breaking in to my large male hand satisfactorily
