Installed on 1997 C1500, 03/12/2025. Correct fitting alignment is very important before starting the procedure. After one turn to start the threads, much resistance is felt to tighten the hose end fitting that connects the flared brake line. Also note the position of the banjo fitting with two copper washers before disassembling. I purchase this hose because amazon said it would fit my truck. The mounting brackets are no where close to matching up with my old mounting bolts. I had to modify the bracket to get it to fit. It's to a point where you can't trust amazon for fitment as several times it has said a part would fit and it don't. For those interested I have a 98 GMC 2500.
