Bought this for a 1970 oldsmobile cutlass that had front disc brakes and rear drum brakes. I was able to pedal bleed the system with zero issues after installing this master cylinder. Would recommend.

While my car was sitting for a little over 2 years, the master cylinder rear reservoir emptied. When I poured new fluid in it, it started dripping out the back. Well, it worked when I parked it and failed while sitting.This new master cylinder was a great fit and bolted up easily. Once I had it installed and started bleeding the brakes, I discovered the rear driver side drum cylinder had also failed, leaking out the drum and onto the floor.With both replace, it is all good and she stops again.

Its like it was never taken out. Great working and nice and new. For my 1978 camaro. It has to be able to stop quick for me . Pushing over 600 hp. I need a new caliper so i will get one from this place as well.

Worked perfectly. Need to bench bleed before so you don’t have extra work when it’s in. Well worth the money cheaper than any store here.

It has been 5 weeks since purchased - just installed and the item is defective - leaking fluid and ruined the finish on my brake booster - this sucks. My order page says it is too late to return but this should have a factory warranty against defects. Waiting to hear from Amazon. Like most companies today Raybestos is having their stuff built in China where there is obviously poor quality control.
