I was looking to remove the slipper clutch in my Granite 3S BLX since I find I have more control without the factory slipper clutch, and I know better than to land jumps full power and send a giant shock load through the driveline. The hub and metal spur gear fit great and look cool, but sadly that’s hidden inside the transmission. What’s not hidden however is the new aluminum driveshaft. I appreciate the two front ends of the driveshaft that are included for either LWB or SWB chassis.Driveshaft has a small amount of slop in it, but not terrible and I’d rather have that, then have it too tight to fit together nicely. There’s some cool designs milled into the end of the driveshaft to show off the aluminum, but on mine it looks like the mill may have broken near the end and the cut wasn’t finished. This doesn’t affect the part in any usable way, but it is cosmetically flawed. I don’t think this is very important, but I do think it’s important enough to note.
