Well made and with suspension and axle upgrades done, these drive shafts complete the frame-down mods. Very happy. Just be sure to routinely check that the set screws are tight as they tend to back off. A tiny bit of blue loctite is not a bad idea.

I bought four different brands, two cv type, two u joint type and these are by far the best Ive used, no binding even at higher than stock angles and they were the cheapest too!!! I bought a second set and may get a third

Bought a 6x6 army truck, but the drive shafts keep popping off. They were cheaply made of plastic and with modest bumps would disconnect. These solve that problem and are bolt on. You must use tread lock on the Allen keys or they will unscrew and fall off.

These fit great on the WPL C24, at least with the stock suspension and the WPL 2 speed transmission. They're definitely longer than the original ones, but still fit. It comes with a Allen key and extra set screws/grub screws but not locktite/ thread locker, which is probably something you'll want. Torqued these screws down pretty tight and no signs of stripping out the threads. Looking forward to a lot of runs on these

I picked this drive shaft because in one of the questions about length the seller answers that compressed it is 50 CM, that's not true, it is 57 CM compressed. This causes a binding issue on the rear of my WPL C24. The motor can overcome the binding until the battery runs down, but I'm guessing it will cause wear in other parts of the truck. The picture shows this shaft next to the original.

We got our 6 year old a C24 truck, to replace the way-too-fast R/C racer that quit working. It was a good choice, as the truck is much easier to control, but the rear drive shaft broke and disappeared. The C24 doesn't do half so well as a 2-wheel drive truck, and a quick Amazon search turned up this product.The truck is back to full-function, and I won't have to worry about a drive shaft breaking any time soon.There are no installation instructions, but it's a simple procedure. Use a #1 Phillips screwdriver to remove the old driveshafts. You might need to use a spudger or small screwdriver to help slip the driveshaft off on one side or the other. When installing the new driveshafts, use a fingernail to set a gap on both ends to prevent binding (about 0.4mm, or 1/64in, give or take… it doesn't need to be precise). On the C24, you only need to slide the shaft out about 2mm from minimum. You might need a small amount of persuasion to get everything in place, but it does fit. The kit I received included two extra set screws, so I won't have to worry about a screw backing out and getting lost.Some chassis upgrade kits include these (or similar) driveshafts; but if you're not ready for that much work, this works great. If you install a two-speed transmission, or higher-speed motor, you should add these driveshafts as well.Update (9 July 2022): A little pin that attaches the shaft to the collar came out and disappeared. This didn't last as long as the original plastic shafts (see second pic). I used a small paper clip to repair it, but I'm much less impressed with the quality of this "up"grade part now.

Works well nice weight for added stability and feels Quality. Perfect replacement for stock rtr or kit plastic ones aswell as being more balanced and less sloppy. Would buy again for future wpl projects and works with c34 aswell. Also looks pretty good. Use loctite on the set screws as it's metal into metal. If you want to replace your stock wpl rtr or kit driveshafts get this

They are a tad bit longer than the original plastic drive shafts but they fit well and the telescoping portion does not bottom out during suspension travel.
