I agree with GJR who left a review on October 1st 2019. The buckles are NOT standard sizes. The space between the base and the lock is too small and damages seriously the cord when the flap is closed. The cord is pressed so tightly when the flap is down that it sustains cuts. I use a regular 4mm diameter leather cord and it is NOT compatible with these buckles.

I liked the larger ones they worked beautifully but the small ones won't stay locked they slide down i didn't know this till after I had already glued the stones to them I'm disappointed cuz they were gifts for my brother and now I don't know what to do with them I can't unglue the stones to return the faulty parts so now I'm stuck with a product that doesn't work

I was expecting some light weight slide closure, but my surprise, these were sooo much better! Two solidly placed holes to sew or rivet; metal strong enough to hold the heaviest of creations! And in this lot, 3 each of 2 sizes. Couldn't be happier. Will definately order more of these!

Product was used to make bolo ties with. They are made from elk antler with a arrowhead in the center. My brother in law makes all kinds of things.
