Your cart is empty.Most RDS transfer tanks also provide auxiliary fueling. RDS offers a full assortment of tanks in various capacities and dimensions to fit your needs. Auxiliary tanks connect to your vehicle’s fuel tank. Diesel fuel can “gravity feed” from the bottom of your RDS tank. An optional Diesel Install Kit contains the necessary items to economically and easily connect your RDS tank to your OEM fuel tank. Gasoline auxiliary fueling is allowed, if siphoned from the top of the tank by using an electric fuel pump.

Very well made tank and tool box setup. Nice clean welds. Comes with mounting kit and instructions. Only problem was the lower plug threads were buggered up but a 3/8 pipe tap cleaned it up just fine.

While the tank is well made the packaging is very poor. The mounting tab on one end was bent so the tank could not lay flat on the truck bed for mounting. Had to carefully bend and hammer the tab to straighten it for mounting. On the same end the toolbox lis was bent on both corners.Too bad a quality product is not given the correct packing. A little Styrofoam blocking could have reduced damage.I had to adjust the lid latch so it could close and operate.

Tank is well built but shipping container is non existent. Damage is fixable if you have a rubber hammer. .

Like other reviews - great product but arrived with damage. This is an aluminum product and can be easily damaged. It is heavy, so being dropped on corners is inevitable. Two corners were indented. I had to pry it open and straighten the sides to be able to open and close it. You'd think that for an $800 product, they would invest a little more in packaging in addition to the cardboard box they presently use.The key lock is barely functional. I used some lock lube and maybe with time it will improve.Delivery was 3 days later than promised, but shipping is a mess due to Covad for everyone at this time. I understand.

The tank itself is fine, the package (carboard box) looked like it had been through a tornado. I knew there was no way the tank could be undamaged as the severity look of the box surrounding it. So, I actually videotaped the unwrapping of the tank, hurriedly ripped off the box and was surprised, tank was bright and shiny , didn't see any immediate damage so I turned off video and totally removed cardboard. Got all cardboard removed and then one at a time the damage started to show itself, I could not believe I missed the dents, and bends in the toolbox, it was so shiny it was hard to see at first. I read an earlier review with similar issue, thought that's probably a 1 time event, guess not. Tool box was easy to beat back in place with mallet so I am keeping it as is. Beware of delivery service. I was not home upon delivery, I think it was ups.

I needed this ASAP. There are two large dents on the toolbox lid. The lid would not even open. The mounting bracket by the fuel intake was broken. I would return if it was not needed ASAP. The package came from UPS torn as well. My husband is have to to reweld the bracket and do his best to knock out the dents as soon as he can pry open the lid. This is not a cheap purchase and I am more than disappointed as I do not have time to wait on another one and return this before he has to go back to work. He will make sure his coworkers do not buy this. I will be happy to take photos and upload after I calm down.
