This is a well-made cover. It installs very easily even a Democrat could do it.

This fit my 2020 gmc sierra rew cab short bed perfectly. It's a nice low profile cover that rolls all the way up and out of the way.The cover is well constructed and installs easily. It does well in the rain, with minimal leakage. The instructions have been updated several times so there were 3 different pamphlets that you have to fumble with. Otherwise easy install and comes with everything you need.Side note if you have the pull bar installed in your bed you will have to remove it or install the cover clamps in a different location.

The cover was easy to install, the fit and finish is excellent. For the weather protection its not perfect but that not the cover fault, its because of the bedrack, it create gap that the factory seal could not cover, so i've added some weather stripping and now its ok(The multi pro tailgate also is not the best for protecting from rain to enter bed). The only thing I could nitpick is the front strap used to hold the cover when rolled, its a little bit difficult for my wife but doable. I would certaintly buy again, for the price paid i'm pretty happy.

the install was super easy especially if you have one of those small impacts that Milwaukee and dewalt offer. overall install took me about 30 min. the only thing is that on my model truck the side rails will over over the inside of the bed by about 3/4 of an inch. making it try to be flush with the bed won’t allow it to latch. so a little bit of trial and error there. i have a drop in bed liner and didn’t need to add the extra weather stripping to the bulk head. it will be fairly tight when you install it but over time it will loosen up slightly. if you have the option on your truck to open the tailgate with your key fob, it will unlock but it won’t fall open. but it will unlock so all you have to do is pull it. that is my only complaint. but i rather have a complete seal than the luxury of an auto opening tail gate. its low profile and if you have water collecting on it, you didn’t install it correctly. i’ve installed this on multiple trucks and never had water pool.overall this is a fairly affordable and effective bed cover that’s easy to install if you have a 1/2 socket and impact driver you can install this in under an hour. also this will help slightly with gas mileage since you are preventing drag from closing off the bed.

My box cover arrived promptly (several weeks ago) but I didn't get it installed until today. I previously had one soft box cover and a couple fiberglass truck caps. I chose this box cover because it has a higher profile than many others (so more space below), and also because it does not protrude from the box rails into the box area as far as many other models (therefore keeps the widest possible distance for cargo between the box rails). This model clamps to the top of the box rail rather than to the inside edge of the rails. Because of that I think it has a better chance of being weather tight. However, beware that it covers the stake pockets. I like the metal latches. I also like the tie straps at each front corner for when the tarp is in the rolled up position (they are very simple and easy to use with one hand). Finally I like the two cross bars that support the tarp from sagging in the middle (mine is a 5 foot 10 inch GMC box). I plan to install a tailgate seal and then pressurize the box to keep the dust out. I've done this with past trucks and it works great. Oct 2023 update: when installing make sure the rails are far enough forward that the seal works properly on the tailgate. At first I had it too far back - the seal worked ok but it hooked on the tailgate and wouldn't allow the tailgate to open when I used my remote tailgate release. I moved it forward slightly and this problem is solved. The remote tailgate release works perfectly and the tailgate drops as designed.

This isn't my first tonneau cover but it has been several years since my last one. One thing I hated was in the winter was trying to get the cover back on the truck after using it. Once it was removed they had a tendency to shrink and would be impossible to get back on. This Pro X15 should not have that problem. It was easy to install, sits down nice and flat and looks really good. You really don't notice it because it fits so flat on the bed.I have a 2021 with the power up/down tailgate and it has no problem. When you install it make sure that you close the tailgate and make sure the rubber bumpers have a very minimal gap or barely contact the tailgate when its shut. Any resistance on the tailgate when it's closing will case it to reopen. Even with the tonneau cover closed I can open the tailgate via the power option. This cover looks great, fits great and adds a definite touch of style to the bed of your truck. I have't tried to see how water proof it is but I'm not looking for 100% water proof but from the way it is sealed I would expect it to be dry unless it's really heavy shower or car wash.I was going to post pictures but for some reason Amazon won't let me add pics. I'll try again later.

This review will be just about the install and I will update in a few months about the cover itself. The installation instructions are very clear and easy to follow. They included weatherstripping for the bulkhead, but with a fairly thick bedliner, I didn't need it. (The instructions indicate the weatherstrip may not be needed in such a case). Installation took 1 hour by myself, but I took time and measured and ensured it was square to the bed. It's too early to tell how good the cover is, but the install was easy enough and I did drive about 10 miles around the neighborhood area for road testing and it seems good.I wish the tailgate release allowed it to drop down with the cover on, but this seems to be a common thing people complain about for most covers. I don't mind, I don't think I will be in a situation where I can't reach up and pull the tailgate down. (It does release with the cover on, just doesn't drop down)The one complaint I have about installation is that 4 of the bolts were slightly larger than 1/2" and my socket wouldn't fit over them. I ended up lightly filing each edge on the bolts and this made them fit in the socket. And yes, it's a Craftsman 1/2" socket, not some weird knockoff socket that isn't the right size (and 2 of the bolts in the kit fit just fine) Not too big of a deal, but frustrating to stop the install, go back inside, find a file, work on them until they fit, then go back out and install them.I will update this review once I've owned the cover for a few months, but I know the brand and model is a popular one. So far, I'm happy.
