I am really glad I picked these up. They are so much fun to throw. I set up a big piece of thick cardboard in my room and practice throwing whenever I want. Through hundreds of throws the tips have not bent, deformed or chipped at all. I had to replace the cardboard a few times, but the knives keep going. Keep in mind, I have not thrown these at wood. Just cardboard, but still, it's hard thick cardboard folded multiple times. These little knives have sharp tips and stick deep into the material. Throw after throw I inspect the tips and see no deformation. The kives are pretty small but big enough to stick pretty deep. They really help a lot with practicing form. I've been trying to perfect the no spin throw. I definitely recommend these knives for anyone trying to get started.

These little throwers are about the length of a common dart. They have a good balance and feel in hand, and seem well, if cheaply made. Thicker than I expected. The case is cheap nylon weave. I don't expect to last as long as the knives. The knives are a fairly tight fit in columns of three.

This review is for the 12 Piece, 6.5" 440 Stainless Steel with Cord-Wrapped Handle, Includes Nylon Carrying Case for Safe Storage for Competition, Training and Recreation (Black/Blue)... Offered by the REAT Store:- This is a nice entry level set of throwing knives.- Good quality, although one of the handle wraps has come undone. I do find that that one has better balance, so you may want to remove the paracord wrap.- The tips are sharp, and the sides of blades not too sharp. Making them perfect to handle.- I have had good success with hitting the target, and they only show a little wear.- Fun to throw, another great adult gift.- Good deal for the current price of $29.99.- These are one I am able to recommend, especially for beginners.

These throwing knives look good and have a nice sharp point that sticks well. The come in a nice looking fold-up pouch with Velcro closures. The sides aren't too sharp to handle, but are sharp enough to slice down an aluminum can easily after stabbing through it. They have a good balance and are a small, light-weight knife. The handles come wrapped in paracord, the paracord started coming off after a few throws on most of the ones we tested. The knives are still usable without the paracord. We were throwing at a big sheet of particle board in the yard. After a while throwing them at the board, we noticed some tips were bending. Even though the tips were bending, their points were still sharp.

Knives are well made. Good balance and are on the small size for throwing knives which I like. Knives are fairly sharp, and overall I'm satisfied with the set.

These are small, light throwing knives with a balance point right in the middle between pommel and blade tip. I was impressed by their sharpness (not razor sharp, which can mean injuries for beginning throwers, but definitely sharp) and the light, easy feel of them in my hand. These are for my daughter, who watched Avatar The Last Airbender and wants to throw as well as Mai. And she's been practicing hard, getting really good at it. She loves these as she can whip them out one after another and they even look a bit like Mai blades =)

BalancedI throw from 20' and staw in a 4" target 11 out of 12 or better every time. The knives lost the wrapping the first day, but the are better balanced without it.
